Our Counseling Center

Divine Direction Counseling Center is a faith-based 501(c)(3) counseling center, whose focus is to provide biblical counseling from the word of God, mixed with clinical insight for marriages and families who desire to be healthy spiritually, emotionally and relationally. Dr. Cassandra Carter spoke with several people in her community about the greatest need there. The response was the same "counseling". In 2022, Dr. Carter founded Divine Direction Counseling Center, "which is dedicated to providing Marriage and Family Counseling.

Meet Our Director and Counselor

Dr. Cassandra Carter, was born in South Carolina, she relocated to Vineland, New Jersey with her family at the age of four. In 1990 she married Leslie T. Carter. They relocated to Delaware in 1995. To this union was born Leslie Joy. In 2020 they relocated once again to Clayton, NC. Dr. Cassandra Carter is very passionate about helping others and has a sincere desire to reach out to people, as Christ would. She is a licensed and ordained minister. Dr. Cassandra Carter has been a licensed biblical counselor though NCCA since 2011. She specializes in marriage and family counseling and has a certification in Temperament therapy. When she relocated to North Carolina the desire to counsel was still there. Without hesitation she answered the call. Dr. Casandra Carter received her bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree and a Master of Biblical Counseling from Friends International Christian University. She received a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Christian Bible College, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
